Slony's Temperament

Slony is a laid back, easy going boy. He is confident, stable, and social. We were more than happy to have him stay in our home to learn more about him, his temperament, his strengths, and his weaknesses. He is very biddable, highly intelligent, persistent, and has great drive. He loves to play tug, but you have to hold on tight because he plays hard, and he absolutely loves to play fetch. He came into our home in the middle of the night after a long and stressful journey from Washington state, and he made himself right at home. He gets along great with our girls and has been indifferent towards our males. Slony earned his AKC Grand Champion title quickly because of his structure and character. He is a large male standing over 27 inches at the shoulders, but is very balanced and athletic. While with us, Slony passed the Temperament Test from the American Temperament Test Society, passed his Canine Good Citizen test from AKC, played agility, learned about Barn Hunt, was evaluated in IPO protection, started IPO tracking, and got a foundation in clicker training. He was willing and able to do anything and everything we asked with confidence and gusto. We look forward to seeing what he will bring to our program.
